To me, the commission process is magical. You share with me your photos, your memories, your ideas about what you want your work of art to be.
We can talk about color, where your art will be displayed, even art styles or famous artists you like. In the end, I will take everything you have told me and put it all together into the work of art you have dreamed of.
The process starts with an email or phone call, you sharing your photos or ideas with me.
For some projects, I make a site visit to sketch and photograph, depending on what you require. Once I understand your budget and what you envision, you will make a 50% deposit (or 33% for larger works), and we are ready to go -

Commission pricing is based on the medium I use and a price per square inch formula. Most commission requests range from $400 to $2,000.

8" x 10" - $400 (pastel only)
11" x 14" - $950
16" x 20" - $2,000
House Portraits
A home portrait commemorates a special place or time of life. It also makes a wonderful gift! The detail in these renderings is exquisite.
Pricing for the most commonly requested sizes:

Pen and ink with watercolor - $325

When you come to me with a portrait commission, I will carefully listen, ask questions, and make sure I understand what makes this someone special in your life so it can be expressed in the final painting.
