Georgia Natural Wonders:
A Journey from Marshland to Mountains

"Artist Ann Litrel brings the spirit of Georgia’s wild landscapes to life in this solo exhibit of paintings from her new book published by UGA Press, “35 Natural Wonders in Georgia to See Before You Die”. The exhibition invites visitors on a visual journey through Georgia’s most iconic landscapes—from mountain peaks and river gorges to hidden barrier island marshes. Thank you for visiting Ann Litrel Art in Woodstock, Georgia!

I’ve had a working studio for almost thirty years, creating fine art, commercial pieces, and commissions for private and corporate clients across the country.

My newest paintings are part of the "Georgia Natural Wonders" collection. This ambitious eight-year project has had me hiking, kayaking and painting across the state, from mountains to the coast. Subscribe to my newsletter below to follow the launch of the prints, book talks, and upcoming shows of the original paintings from the book.

Painting landscapes and nature close to home is my passion! In the Gallery you can find a wide range of landscapes - paintings of Georgia’s Blue Ridge Mountains, and Cherokee County landmarks like the Sixes Mill, Woodstock Depot, and the Shingle House at Franklin Creighton Gold Mine. Selected images are available as prints - on paper, canvas and even contemporary metal - in the Store.

And of course, please contact me with your commission ideas. I love working with my clients, turning your most treasured memories into a beautiful work of art and treasured family heirloom.
