year I came across a photo I had taken in New York ten years before. I remembered
taking it not at all. But the sudden reappearance of those two ghostly towers
hit me like a blow, and I realized it was a memory that deserved a canvas. This
skyline has become an image that speaks to each of us, as Americans and as citizens
of the world. | |
