All
of the images in the Galleries are available as giclee prints.
Roughly translated, giclee is French for "to sprinkle
ink." Technically speaking, it's a digital method for
printing fine art. The image is digitally captured in a
high resolution camera where it can be refined before the
printing process. The ink is then sprinkled on to the paper
or canvas at 1440 droplets per inch. The end result displays
contrast and rich color, and a wider tonal range than that
of lithography or serigraphy. Giclees retain a 150+ lifespan
under normal viewing conditions. Each Ann Litrel giclee
is hand highlighted and signed by the artist. Images from
American Visions are reproduced on canvas and stretched
on a frame, The Eternal Garden works are printed on William
Turner paper, 300 pound stock.
This
high level of craftsmanship gives you a giclee that is astoundingly
identical to the original work.Some
originals are also available. For more information, please
