A
butterfly cannot fly until its body has been warmed to a certain
temperature. On a cold day one may see a butterfly in the
garden, resting with its wings spread, waiting for the mist
to burn away and the sun to warm its wings so it may fly.
So too
may we be living, but stillborn of spirit. Like butterflies
we may be outwardly beautiful, but we are not moved to action
until our souls have been penetrated by the rays of the Holy
Spirit. We need the Light to warm us before we can fly.
